A corporate event circuit breaker
Corporate retreats were becoming predictable. Beige rooms. Forced fun. No follow-through. Sawyers Valley Retreat was built to offer something better, a space where teams can reset properly, think clearly and return to work with real momentum.
Outcomes, not performance
This is not just a beautiful location. Every space is designed to support structured sessions, meaningful reflection and focused conversations. From flexible indoor areas to the purpose-built Sound Temple, the environment works for the day you need to run.
We take care of the details
There’s pressure on event organisers. Retreats need to feel productive, well-run and above all, not boring. Sawyers Valley Retreat was created as the antidote to corporate fatigue, a nature-powered circuit breaker for teams and offsites looking for more than a boardroom.
Sawyers Valley History
A new home in the hills
The Quiet Cone was relocated from Falls Road, Hovea to Sawyers Valley and thoughtfully renovated with cedar lining, jarrah floors and a welcoming porch, laying the foundations for a space designed for reconnection.
The Sound Temple begins
The Sound Temple name was registered and the first website launched, establishing a dedicated home for immersive sound and healing experiences in the Perth Hills.
Celebrations under the gum trees
We began hosting intimate weddings and personal celebrations, bringing people together in nature to mark meaningful moments in a setting that feels both grounded and memorable.
Retreats for teams launch
Corporate retreats were introduced and the Sawyers Valley Retreat business was created, expanding our work into purposeful offsites for teams seeking more than a boardroom.
Gratitude, made tangible
Gifts of Gratitude launched as an online store, offering curated pieces that carry the spirit of the retreat into everyday life.
Community woven together
Common Threads was born, a community-led initiative created to deepen connection through shared stories, creativity and collaboration.
A decade of reconnection
The Sound Temple celebrated 10 years of holding space for rest, reflection and meaningful gathering.
On festival stages
We were invited to contribute to the Perth Healing Festival and Nannup Music Festival, sharing our work with broader audiences seeking immersive experiences.
Connection in Fremantle
A Fremantle Markets shopfront opened, creating a physical touchpoint for community connection beyond the hills.
Our work, defined
After a period of strong growth in corporate retreats, Sawyers Valley Retreat relaunched with a new brand and standalone website, clearly positioning us as a nature-immersed alternative to the traditional boardroom.
